Paris Saint-Germain have announced that Kylian Mbappé (24) will be out for three weeks, which means he will miss the club’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich in just 12 days.
Mbappé was hurt in the thigh during Wednesday’s 3-1 win over Montpellier. Following the game, the Frenchman was seen hobbling through the mixed zone. The intensity of the injury has been determined following additional diagnostic exams, and it is inevitably an injury that will prevent Mbappé from competing in the Champions League tie against Bayern Munich, the first leg of which takes place on February 14th.
Mbappé will miss the Coupe de France match against Olympique de Marseille, as well as crucial Ligue 1 matches against AS Monaco and Lille OSC, if he is ruled out for three weeks. PSG play Marseille in the league again on February 26th, though the Monaco academy graduate could be back by then.
