A new mod for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is a game changer for character customization, allowing for more control of the Dragonborn’s appearance.
A brand-new mod for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is a complete game changer for character customization going forward. The new Skyrim mod takes notes from a popular The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion inspired mod, allowing players to easily customize the Dragonborn in the item menu without second guessing their equipment.
Skyrim continues to be a very popular RPG nearly 12 years after its initial release due to Bethesda’s long-term support and a multitude of re-releases across console generations. The Skyrim Anniversary Edition is the latest iteration featuring a curated selection of Creation Club mods, new quests, a fishing mini-game, new armor, and much more. The modding community’s support for the title increased even further after the release of Skyrim Anniversary Edition due to a number of new assets to take advantage of. The Skyrim community’s mods allow players to customize their experience to their own liking with specialized quality of life features and additional content.
Skyrim modder myztikrice uploaded a new mod to Nexus Mods titled “Show Player In Menus,” which allows players to have full control of their entire character customization experience from a single menu. Based on beinz’s “Oblivion Style Inventory” mod, the Show Player In Menus mod causes the game’s camera to face the Dragonborn when the items menu is open. Players may switch apparel and equipment while being able to see the Dragonborn’s armor and general appearance change in real time. The mod greatly streamlines character customization, so players won’t have to navigate in and out of the items menu to dress the Dragonborn up to their liking.
The new Skyrim mod improves upon many of the game’s previously released mods including Dopesan’s “Nordic UI – Interface Overhaul” and mwilsnd’s “SmoothCam.” Further, the mod leverages enhancements made within Skyrim Anniversary Edition and the current GOG version. Players must download a variety of Skyrim plugins at the official Nexus Mods page in order to make the best use of the mod, however.
Myztikrice’s mod improves some of Skyrim’s best quality of life mods and incorporates them into a single, seamless feature that PC players can take advantage of. Those still traveling across the vast region of Skyrim on PC should install the update to have the best experience possible when equipping and removing gear. Thousands of gear pieces are available in Skyrim due to Creation Club content and mods, so the new mod will help players find the best outfit that suits their Dragonborn.
Skyrim mods continue to give players reasons to revisit the title while waiting on more information about The Elder Scrolls 6. Although the next entry in the prolific RPG series is not due out for some time, players can make the most out of their Skyrim adventure with the latest mods on Nexus Mods.
