Three Real Madrid players arrested by Spain’s Civil Guard for alleged involvement in recording and spreading a sex video of a minor girl
According to the report, several footballers are said to be involved in the case of recording a sexual video with a minor involved and showing it to other players.
At least three players have been arrested on the charges of “revealing secrets of a sexual nature”. Their identities have not been disclosed as of now. However, according to El Confidencial, these individuals are reported to be players who come from Real Madrid’s renowned ‘La Fabrica‘ academy, as well as the reserve and third teams.
According to the same source, it is believed that there might be involvement of additional first-team players in the case, but the exact nature of their alleged participation remains unclear.
The three individuals suspected in the case were reportedly apprehended earlier on Thursday and have been brought to police stations for questioning.
Investigators are seeking to confiscate their mobile phones to aid in progressing the investigation. This step is crucial in potentially uncovering any additional player involvement and the potential need for further arrests, according to Forbes.
Complaint filed by mother of the minor, police investigates
This investigation and the resulting arrests originated from a complaint filed by the mother of a minor in the Canary Islands on September 6th.
According to Forbes, the mother reported the alleged events to the police. She claimed that one of the detainees filmed a sexual video with her daughter present in it.
According to El Confidencial’s report, the primary individual implicated in the case is associated with Real Madrid C. The accused has either had or currently maintains a relationship with the minor in question.
Real Madrid has not yet issued any comments through an official statement or in the Spanish media.
