House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer released bank records on Hunter Biden‘s foreign payments. The Committee produced the documents in a third memo Wednesday, according to Fox News.
House Oversight reveals Hunter Biden’s $20M foreign payments in new bank records
The family of President Biden and their associates generated a minimum of $20 million from international origins, which encompassed associates of the president’s son Hunter Biden in countries like Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. Notably, some of these associates even shared meals with the current commander-in-chief, NY Post reported.
James Comer (R-Ky.), the chairman of the committee, remarked that Hunter Biden, who is now 53 years old, seemed to provide Russian, Kazakhstani, and Ukrainian business figures an opportunity to connect with his father, who was Vice President under Barack Obama. Comer highlighted that these associates from post-Soviet countries reportedly joined the Bidens for dinners at Washington’s Café Milano, with each of them being present at least once.
“During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself,” Comer said in a statement.
Memo raises concerns about Hunter Biden’s use of father’s influence for financial gain
The memo mentions Hunter Biden used his father’s name to make money for their family from different countries. The document suggests there might have been corruption and bribery involving Joe Biden, CNN reported.
“During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine,” said Committee Chairman James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, in a statement. “It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself. And Hunter Biden seems to have delivered.”
The third bank memo, which comes from asking several banks not connected to the Biden family, specifically discusses about three companies started by Hunter Biden: Rosemont Seneca Partners, LLC; Rosemont Seneca Thornton, LLC; and Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC.
The committee shared pictures of bank records they say prove that Baturina, the widow of the former Mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov, sent $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton on February 14, 2014.
After that, a total of $2,752,711 was moved to Rosemont Seneca Bohai, which was co-owned by Hunter and Archer, according to what Archer told Congress last week.
